Depending on your area and jurisdiction, you can expect two types of inspections:- county and local inspections:
your county may require inspections to check that construction meets local code.
- financial lender inspections:
your lender will likely make inspections at the end of each construction phase prior to releasing funds.
It is highly advisable that you hire your own inspector to inspect the quality of the work at each stage of the construction phase.
